The upgrade of Lustre parallel file system (/pfs/nobackup) as well as the rest of the maintenance we have done during the week are now complete. All systems are up and running again, including the batch queues on both Kebnekaise and Abisko. The login nodes are open for acess again.

During the week we have, among other things:

  • Upgraded Lustre to prepare for new functionality, especially for project-based storage. More information will be available later.
  • Updated firmware on most systems, to ensure stability, security and accessibility of the systems.
  • Upgraded ThinLinc to a new version. For information on login via ThinLinc, see our Running ThinLinc Guide

There are still some afterwork left to do, which will be done in the coming weeks. Even if it should not affect the systems, shorter interruptions may occur.

Please report any problems to support@hpc2n.umu.se.
