Maintenance on the file system 2022-06-(27-30) *DONE 20220701 15:00*

On Monday 2022-06-27 we will start an upgrade of the file system servers.

Our hope is that this will reduce the amount of problems we have had the past couple of weeks.

The reason for the rather long maintenance window is that we will do some cleanup of potential and known problems before the upgrade and that is expected to take a relatively long time.

Further information on progress etc will be updated on this page.

The upgrade of the server code is done and initial file system checks have finished.

We're now going to do some higher level cleanups.

We currently have no estimate of when they will be finished since we're just starting.

We estimate that the ongoing cleanup will be done around 15:00 today 2022-07-01

*UPDATE 2022-07-01 14:30*

The cleanup is done and we're currently releasing nodes to the batch system and reactivating the login nodes.

The system is now back online and login nodes are open.
