Kebnekaise login host moved to new machine with a new SSH host key, 2025-12-10

We have moved the kebnekaise.hpc2n.umu.se login host to a new machine.

This machine has a different SSH host key: SHA256:PpomhGO7eeljmDUdcp9sJGm/8Ek1sTEOTP+BwSRQrRQ

You may have to change or remove the old entry for the Kebnekaise login node from the known_hosts file. On Linux (and usually also macOS) you find this file under the directory .ssh/ in your home directory. On Windows it will be under %UserProfile%\.ssh

The entry for the Kebnekaise login node could begin with any of these in your known_hosts file

- kebnekaise.hpc2n.umu.se
- b-an01.hpc2n.umu.se

NOTE: If your known_hosts file has hashed hostnames, you can use

ssh-keygen -F kebnekaise.hpc2n.umu.se

to find the relevant lines.
