Maintenance on Kebnekaise, will be totaly down, 2025-12-10 07:00, *UPDATE 2025-12-18 16:24*

Dear users,

we are doing some maintenance on Kebnekaise starting 2025-12-10 07:00.

Everything will be down, no jobs running and login nodes disabled.

This will take the whole day and we expect to have things up and running again late on the evening the same day.

The kebnekaise.hpc2n.umu.se login node has been moved to a new machine, see separate news entry about that.

The part of the maintenance that affects Kebnekaise is over and batch jobs are now running again.

NOTE: kebnekaise-tl (the ThinLinc server) is still down. kebnekaise-amd-tl is up though, if you need to connect to do something soon.

The kebnekaise-tl.hpc2n.umu.se (the ThinLinc server) is now active again. The login server behind it has been upgraded to UIbuntu Noble (24.04)
