Please note that there are two calls – one for large NAISS resources and one for LUMI Sweden resources.

NEW: NAISS is changing the structure of application rounds. In this call it is now possible to apply for compute resources, storage resources and resources for sensitive data in the same proposal instead of in separate rounds. From 1 January 2026, NAISS will no longer have separate compute, storage, and sensitive data application rounds. There will be only one type of Large (spring and fall), Medium and Small application rounds, all with a possibility to apply for compute resources, storage resources and resources for sensitive data in the same proposal.

NAISS Large Fall 2025 call

LUMI Sweden Fall 2025 call

The call for compute and storage resources on the Swedish part of LUMI.

Please note that this call is for a 12-month period.

Allocation periods

The allocation period for the NAISS Large calls is 1 January 2026 through 31 December 2026.

Please note that the deadline for submissions to the calls is  16 October 2025 at 15:00 CEST . After that time, access to the online application system for these calls is closed.

The National Allocations Committee (NAC), with the help of external experts, will review the proposals submitted within the deadline.
The proposals will undergo both scientific and technical evaluation. Decisions regarding the NAISS Large Fall 2025 and LUMI Sweden Fall 2025 rounds will be announced via email no later than early December.

We encourage you to read the instructions carefully before submitting your proposal. Instructions are available at the NAISS website and in SUPR on the links above for each call.

Note that you can request allocations on one or more resources in a single Large proposal.

Please also note:

• NAISS explicitly request acknowledgement of NAISS in scientific publications that have utilized NAISS resources, services, or expertise. 
  Papers, presentations, and other publications that feature work that relied on NAISS resources should include an acknowledgement.

• If you have previously been granted NAISS resources, you have to upload activity reports for those projects to be eligible for new allocations.
