The Large and LUMI Sweden Fall 2021 calls are open

The SNIC Large Fall 2021 and LUMI Sweden Fall 2021 calls have opened. The deadline for submissions is 15 October 2021 at 3 PM CEST.

Please note that there are three calls–one each for Large compute, Large storage, and LUMI Sweden.

SNIC Large compute call

Allocation periods

The allocation period for the SNIC Large calls is 1 January 2022 – 31 December 2022.

The allocation period for the LUMI Sweden call is 1 January 2022 - 30 June 2022.

Please note that the deadline for submissions to the calls is 15 October 2021 at 3 PM CEST. After that point in time, access to the online application system for these calls is closed.

The Swedish National Allocations Committee (SNAC), with the help of external experts, will review the proposals submitted within the deadline.
The proposals will undergo both scientific and technical evaluation.

SNIC uses an online proposal system for all allocations on SNIC resources, located at: https://supr.snic.se/

We encourage you to read the instructions carefully before submitting your proposal. Instructions are available at the SNIC website: https://snic.se/allocations/

Note that you can request Large allocations on one or more resources in a single proposal.

Please also note:

  • SNIC explicitly requests the acknowledgement of SNIC in scientific publications that have required the use of SNIC resources, services, or expertise. 
    Papers, presentations, and other publications that feature work that relied on SNIC should include an acknowledgement.

  • While in the SUPR portal, please review your personal information to ensure that you have filled in all mandatory fields.   
  • Please note that for the first time the resource Alvis is available in the Large compute call.
